Dar Vida
Social Responsibility and Public Health
Together we save lives.
Social responsibility programme created in 2019 that aims to encourage regular voluntary blood donation by employees, contributing to increasing the blood reserve in health systems.
The "Dar Vida" programme aims to contribute to strengthen the voluntary blood donation system that allows universal access to timely supplies of safe and quality-assured blood and blood products.
In countries where the Group operates, such as Angola and Mozambique, the percentage of voluntary blood donations is quite low, so that many employees are directly or indirectly faced with this potential unavailability of blood at some point in their lives.
By making its employees aware of the importance of voluntary blood donation and providing conditions for effective donation, through technical partnerships, the Group aims to contribute to reducing the current shortage of blood stock in health institutions and stimulate a greater sense of solidarity among employees and their personal spheres.
