Teixeira Duarte – Engenharia e Construções, S.A. acquired laser scanning equipment with innovative technology that is currently unique in Portugal.
The NavVis VLX 3 is an industry-leading mobile mapping system that is fully portable and operated by just one person. Through laser scanning, it combines traditional surveying methods with advanced technology to capture and create accurate and comprehensive representations of physical spaces, both indoors and outdoors. It allows you to visualize them effectively and integrate them into existing workflows, enabling better understanding, planning and management of the built environment.
Laserscan is a technique that uses a laser beam to accurately measure the distance between the laser scanner and an object or surface, and is widely used in areas such as topographic mapping, civil engineering, architecture, archeology and monitoring of structures. Analysis of the data collected by laserscan allows the creation of detailed three-dimensional models of the existing environment and accurate information about the shape, size and characteristics of surfaces.
