Teixeira Duarte Group opens new Maxi store in Lubango
A new Maxi store was opened on May 23rd in the city of Lubango. This is Maxi's 1st store in the Province of Huíla and its 12th in the country.
Founded 28 years ago, Maxi is a chain of stores belonging to “CND – Companhia Nacional de Distribuição”, a company of the Teixeira Duarte Group, which is dedicated to the food trade in Angola and currently employs more than 1,100 people.
Today, Maxi is one of the most important retail chains in the country with great recognition in the market, due to the quality and variety of products and services it offers, ensuring a balanced price positioning, differentiated service, extended opening hours, easy access and strong promotional activity.
The Lubango store has a sales area of approximately 1,000 m2, where it offers the services of Nilo Pastry Shop, "Take-away", Charcuterie, Bakery and the Winery “Adega 1921”, creating more than 70 direct and indirect jobs and offering Lubango's population a shopping experience that was previously unavailable in the city.
