Teixeira Duarte celebrates “Company Day”
and honors employees with 30 years of service
Last Saturday, October 15th, Teixeira Duarte celebrated its “Company Day”, a date that symbolically coincides with the birth of its Founder, Mr. Eng. Ricardo Esquível Teixeira Duarte.
On this occasion, celebrations were held in several countries where the Group operates, including Portugal, Angola, Brazil, Mozambique and Kuwait, with employees marking the date and celebrating 101 years of Teixeira Duarte.
In Portugal, the traditional thanksgiving mass took place and by the intention of Mr. Eng. Ricardo Esquível Teixeira Duarte and all the employees who have passed away, which was followed by a dinner, where the Board and the Senior Management of Teixeira Duarte received the Shareholders of “Teixeira Duarte, S.A.” who were at the Annual General Meeting of May 23 – many of them are members of the Teixeira Duarte family and others are employees and former shareholder employees - and colleagues who, in 2022, will complete 30 years at the service of Teixeira Duarte, to whom was paid homage.
Among the shareholders, Mr. Eng. Pedro Pereira Coutinho Teixeira Duarte stands out, who, at the age of 104, was present in the celebrations of this day, as well as in the tribute paid to these colleagues, continuing to be an inspiration to all.
