SOMAFEL executes one more work for VALE in Brazil

a href="https://somafel.com" target="blank">SOMAFEL Ltda. (Brazil) and VALE, S.A. have signed, on May 3, the "Total Contract for the Provision of Specialized Technical Services for Infrastructure, Drainage, Small Earthworks and Repowering of the Rolling Track, in the Yards of Carajás Plant I" contract. The contract work will be carried out at the Carajás Mining Complex, in the State of Pará, and has a 420-day execution period. The works involve the demolition and removal of the existing roadway and execution of new roadway, in Patios C and D, in a total length of 3,400 meters, as well as the drainage and levelling of Patio A, in an area of 32,500 m².

With the signing of this new contract, SOMAFEL continues its operations at Carajás Mine, one of the largest iron mines in the world, after having successfully completed, in 2019 and 2020, the rehabilitation of other yards of this mining complex, which consolidates SOMAFEL as a reference supplier for VALE, in this type of activities.
