Lagoas Park Hotel recognized, for the fifth consecutive year, with the Environmental Sustainability seal
Lagoas Park Hotel was recognized, for the fifth consecutive year, with the “We Care” seal, as part of this unit's adherence to the HOSPES Program promoted by the Portuguese Hotel Association (AHP).
The HOSPES Program is a Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability program developed by AHP in conjunction with national hotels, which is based on the pillars of social responsibility, environmental sustainability and circular economy. It is a collaborative network that promotes and reinforces the hotel industry's connection and commitment to the community and the environment.
The “We Care” seal, awarded to the Lagoas Park Hotel, which is operated by the Hotel Industry of the Teixeira Duarte Group, recognizes the implementation of good practices, specifically in the collection, treatment and recycling of various types of hotel waste.
Through the HOSPES Program and its shared and circular economy model, AHP intends to catalyze the capacity of the hotel industry to respond to the challenges of the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, an agenda that the Teixeira Duarte Group also adopted to drive the actions and goals of its companies involved in the scope of Sustainable Development.
