Lagoas Park Hotel recognised for its Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability
The Portuguese Hotel Association (AHP) has awarded Lagoas Park Hotel the 2025 “We Care” and “We Share” seals, in recognition of the hotel’s commitment to social responsibility and environmental sustainability.
The “We Care” distinction certifies, for the seventh consecutive year, the implementation of good environmental practices by the hotel, namely in the collection, treatment and recycling of various types of waste. The “We Share” seal recognises initiatives supporting communities, such as the donation of goods.
Both distinctions form part of the HEART Programme — Hospitality, Environment and Responsible Tourism — promoted by the AHP with the aim of harnessing the hotel industry’s capacity to respond to the challenges of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, an agenda that the Teixeira Duarte Group has also adopted to guide the actions and goals of its subsidiaries in the area of Sustainable Development.
