The Annual General Meeting of Teixeira Duarte, S.A. was held yesterday, where the Company's Report and Accounts for the year 2020 were unanimously approved, as well as all the other proposals presented as results from the communication disclosed to the Comissão de Mercado de Valores Mobiliários (CMVM) on the same day of the meeting.

The General Meeting of the Company was chaired by Dr. José Luciano Vaz Marcos, with Dr. José Mário Ferreira de Almeida as Vice-Chairman, both elected in 2019 to hold such positions during the term ending in 2022.

The holders of the other corporate positions were also present, including the members of the Board of Directors and supervisory bodies, for whom a resolution of confidence was unanimously approved, as well as a vote of praise for the way in which, in the financial year just ended, they performed their duties.

The Meeting was held in person at the Congress Center of Lagoas Park, thus allowing the safeguarding of the possibility of the effective exercise of the Shareholders' rights and complying, simultaneously, with all the public health measures in force and other complementary measures that allowed the exercise of the right to vote by electronic mail and the possibility for the Shareholders to remotely follow the work of the General Meeting, through video and audio access made available on the Internet.

The traditional presence of Shareholders who are members of the Teixeira Duarte family and Shareholders who are employees and former employees was recorded, which always strengthens the unity of all around the Company, especially in a period of a more difficult economic situation, but at the same time of celebration of Teixeira Duarte's 100 years.
