TDA launches new brand in Angola: GAC Motor
TDA has just launched a new automotive brand, GAC Motor, for which it is the exclusive distributor in Angola. As its initial range, GAC Motor is introducing four SUVs: the GS3 EMZOOM, the GS4 MAX, the GS8 and the S7 PHEV, the first plug-in hybrid in TDA’s portfolio and a first step towards the electrification of its offering.
GAC Motor is the passenger vehicle division of Guangzhou Automobile Group, one of China’s largest automotive manufacturers, with a presence in more than 60 countries. The brand arrives in Angola with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty and certified technical support, backed by the technical and commercial infrastructure that TDA has built in the country over the past 35 years.
The launch of GAC Motor in Angola took place in Luanda, at a ceremony attended by representatives of official bodies, corporate clients, strategic partners, media outlets and the brand’s international delegation.
The partnership with GAC Motor is the latest expression of the relationship that the Teixeira Duarte Group has maintained with China for more than four decades, across different sectors and geographies, representing an important step for TDA, the Group and the Angolan market.
