Teixeira Duarte returns to PSI
Teixeira Duarte will return to the PSI, the main index of the Lisbon Stock Exchange. The promotion was announced yesterday by Euronext Lisbon and will take effect on 22 September.
According to Manuel Maria Teixeira Duarte, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Teixeira Duarte, S.A., “We are proud and deeply aware of the responsibility that comes with the Teixeira Duarte Group’s inclusion in the PSI. This milestone represents recognition of the work of many Teixeira Duarte employees and reflects the confidence investors place in the future we are building together every day. Being among the 16 largest and most liquid listed companies in Portugal is certainly a new source of visibility for the Teixeira Duarte Group in the markets and an additional motivation for us to continue to innovate, create value for our shareholders, and contribute to building a better world.”
The PSI "Portuguese Stock Index" comprises companies whose free-float market capitalisation is at least €100 million and whose shares are actively and frequently traded in significant volumes.
In 2025, Teixeira Duarte recorded a share price increase of more than 472% – the highest among publicly listed companies – raising its market capitalisation to €189.8 million.
