Lagoas Park Hotel awarded Environmental Sustainability seal for sixth consecutive year
Lagoas Park Hotel has been awarded the “We Care” seal for the sixth consecutive year, as part of its membership of the HEART Program promoted by the Portuguese Hotel Association (AHP).
The certificate award ceremony took place last Friday, March 14, during BTL - Better Tourism Lisbon Travel Market 2025.
The HEART Program is a Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability program developed by AHP in conjunction with national hotels, which is based on the pillars of social responsibility, environmental sustainability and circular economy. It is a collaborative network that promotes and reinforces the connection and commitment of the hotel industry with the community and the environment.
The “We Care” seal, awarded to Lagoas Park Hotel, which belongs to the Teixeira Duarte Group, recognizes the implementation of good practices, specifically in the collection, treatment and recycling of various types of waste from hotels.
Through the HEART Program and its shared and circular economy model, AHP aims to catalyze the hotel industry's capacity to respond to the challenges of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, an agenda that the Teixeira Duarte Group has also adopted to guide the actions and goals of its participating companies within the scope of Sustainable Development.
