The innovation put Teixeira Duarte at the top of the technology at the time, competing with the big international companies of the time, namely Belgian companies like Franki.

Example of this was the introduction of the technology of piles moulded into the ground, as an alternative to driven wooden piles, which was used in the foundations of the New Central Body of the Congress Palace (now Parliament) in 1934, in the foundations of the new church of Av. da Berna (Fátima Church) and in the foundations of the Casa da Moeda, in Lisbon, and marked in the Invention Patent nr. 19.640: " Probe-digger for driving pipes in compressible soils, with simultaneous drilling", granted to the Engineer Ricardo Esquível Teixeira Duarte in 1938.
